Individual Aging for Witches
« on: October 15, 2009, 05:02:11 PM »
Ah, the magic of witchcraft.

With this version of Individual Aging, the aging of witches older than teen is slowed greatly.  In fact, they will only age on Mondays.  Teen witches age normally.  On every day but Monday, the witches, except for teens, will actually have a day added to their lives at 5 pm, only to have it taken away at 6 pm.  Net effect, no aging.

Yet more magic!

If a witch who is older than teen has aging turned off, the witch will actually age younger, not older.  I recommend to leave aging on for witches unless you actually want them to grow younger.  The witch will not change age groups, that is an elder witch cannot age to be an adult witch, even if the elder witch reduces in age to be young enough to be an adult.  (Damn double talk!  I hope that made sense.)  Use SimBlender (www.simbology.com) if you want that.

This version of Individual Aging is suitable for University families also.

Added:
One peculiarity about witches at Uni with this mod.  Young adult witches will actually grow younger as they advance through college!  But at graduation they revert to the proper age so all is good again.

Again for clarification, the Witch versions of the controller and clock replace the non-witch versions.  There is no difference between the witch and non-witch clock, I just modified the name to hopefully remove confusion.

hey bro, this is a cool idea & hack. I was wondering if it would be in any way, shape or form possible for a variant to be devised that would allow for 'immortality' to be achieved upon attaining grand-high good/bad status? Maybe the Height of Their Powers sort of thing that would coincide with their aura kickin in or some other means? However, if it can't be done then it's no biggie...
