Lot Full of Sims
« on: May 26, 2009, 01:34:42 AM »
Why stop at 8?  Also TwoJeff's Pregnancy for All updated to work with LFOS.

To enable moving in sims in excess of eight, to include from the Sim Bin add these three lines to the beginning of your userStartup.cheat:

uintProp maxTotalSims 50
uintProp maxTotalHumans 35
uintProp maxTotalPets 15

Use Notepad to edit userstartup.cheat.  The mod does nothing to affect age or pregnancy of pets or sims.

You only need TJ's mod that I updated if you want same sex pregnancies.

If you can't easily find the cheats folder in your EA Games/Sims2 file, set your viewing option to see "file type."  That will be where you add those three lines from Notepad.

Hey, boss!  Do we need the mod to make this work?  I thought there was a boolProp or cheat code to allow bigger house sizes.  I do know that I need SeeThem2 in order to eliminate the pixilation when sims shower, etc.  Does your mod run in a similar fashion?  Thanks in advance for your reply to this querie.

The cheat you're thinking of will just alter the number of visitors on the lot.  Useful if you are throwing a large party or on community lots.  This mod will allow more family members and with the lines added to the userStartup.cheat, allow you to merge families from the neighborhood screen, even in excess of the EA defaults.

SeeThem2 is simply a repackaging of Quaxi's blur remover and some cheats enabled in the userStartup.cheat.  Those cheats that are enabled tend to make building or modifying houses difficult since doors and windows can't be place.
